It was during the Annual Scenes and Monologue performance (done virtually), through the studio I’m associated with, that I found out I’d been selected as MLSP’s member of the month. It was right after I had done my monologue, and even though I knew I shouldn’t be checking my email, I just had to see how many of the people I had invited to the Wednesday Webinar were going.
Congrats To Our June 2022 Member Of The Month – Karen Bromberg
When I saw the email, my first urge was to run into the other room to show it to my husband. Then I stopped…realizing that he was just about to go on to do his scene!
When I was finally able to show it to him, I could see in his eyes how proud he was of me. That’s when I knew! My joining MLSP wasn’t just for me. It’s also benefitting him!
I joined my network marketing company back in February 2018, a little over a year after my parents had passed (a month and three days apart). This was a particularly difficult time. It was also when I decided to leave the profession I had worked in for over twenty-five years.
The reason I had decided to leave was simple. I was tired of being at some else’s beck and call. If I was going to work hard, I was going to do it FOR ME!
A friend told me all about the company she had just joined…the comp plan…the benefits…It was a no-brainer!
Now, being a good-student, I did EVERYTHING I was told. What happened was that I ended up bothering my friends and family until they didn’t want to be around me anymore.
I spammed my personal profile and created a new business page, then wondered why no one was interacting with me. I talked to strangers…yes, this introvert actually talked to strangers! And to my surprise, I even made a couple of sales.
I rented rooms for classes-several times-to educate about my products and opportunity. Only one person ever showed up.
Most of my sales were “one-and-done.” No one joined!!! After a couple of years of this I was desperate; the guilt at not contributing to the family finances was more than I could bear.
As luck (or Fate) would have it, it was on a free training when I met the woman who’d introduce me to MLSP. We struck up a quick friendship. That was when she shared with me. I couldn’t be more grateful!
Since joining, my mind has opened to SOOO many possibilities.
I know what I’m offering and to who, what problems I’m solving. I’m now serving in the way that feels aligned with ME!
Life is good!! Thank you MLSP!!
