In case you haven’t noticed, we’re currently living in the age of the entrepreneur. Being an entrepreneur has become “cool”. Opportunity is all around us. Information and tools are as approachable as ever. If you happen to be an MLSP member you already have access to tools and training that are second to none. Literally anyone can build a business today.
Because of the ease at which someone can start a business there also exist a lot of “wantrapreneuers.” Those who buy into their own excuses, and let all of life’s challenges stand in between them and what they say they desire. Because you’re reading this post, I’ll assume that’s not you, and I’ll take a moment to have a high level conversation with you. It’s going to be hard. It’s going to test your resilience, your relationships, your insecurities, and so much more.
The rewards can be extraordinary but the journey will undoubtedly be a tough one. Entrepreneurs can feel lonely, misunderstood or unfairly judged. Our comfort zones are always stretched and we constantly stare fear in the face. We’re fueled by vision, faith, and the belief that we were put here to do something amazing, but we are constantly tested.
If you’ve experienced any of those emotions, it’s so important that you know you’re not alone. This weekend, while attending a mastermind, I saw an amazing project designed to shed an authentic light on the challenges of entrepreneurship. It made me emotional, I could relate to so many of the challenges highlighted in simple statements by real entrepreneurs.
In the video below I show you the project, read through some of these real life challenges, and tell you what it takes to push past all the fear and insecurity you’ll surely face as you continue on your journey. Enjoy the video!
