MARK HOVERSON The Passing of an Industry Icon, Legend, and Absolute Inspiration!
It’s impossible to count the number of lives that our late friend and industry icon Mark Hoverson had an effect on.
More importantly however is that number will never stop growing.
Because the countless lives that he affected personally and even from a virtual distance...will trickle on forever as more and more people embrace and share his timeless teachings.
This was a man who’s wisdom was well beyond his years. Whether seeing it in person like we here at MLSP were lucky enough to do...or even through an online training webinar or Facebook LIVE... you just had that feeling you were witnessing greatness.
Mark had a way of teaching through stories that would make King Solomon himself proud.
His marketing skills were absolutely second to none, and the value he added to each person he communicated with was inspiring, and in a word...legendary!
This was a man dedicated to teaching as many people as humanly possible how to break free from being a slave to money, and turning that on it’s head… and making money your slave (as it’s supposed to be!)
So dedicated he was to this legacy in fact, that he taught almost literally right up to his final days, where a rare form of pancreatic cancer took his life much too early. (A cancer diagnoses of which he was given months to live, yet Mark fought it for over 4 years once again beating the odds!)
Despite the pain, despite knowing what the future held, he gave value frequently through emails, videos, and Facebook LIVES.
Even one of the toughest and rarest forms of cancers in the world was never able to take his soul. A soul that will shine on forever as his legacy continues.
Though we mourn the loss of this great man… there’s no better way to honor him than to celebrate his wisdom and teachings that he shared with our community over the past decade of MLSP.
The founders and many of the leaders were very fortunate to be able to call Mark Hoverson a friend. He was one of the earliest supporters of MLSP... and someone we all looked up to as a mentor to help us drive our own purpose forward in helping YOU live your dream!

MLSP CEO Brian Fanale Honors Mark Hoverson on the MLSP Wake Up Call and Facebook LIVE! (Personal Stories and Memories)
On August 22nd, just days after Mark’s passing, MLSP CEO Brian Fanale honored Mark Hoverson’s memory and legacy on the MLSP Wake Up Call!
During his Wake Up Call, he touched on personal stories between him and Mark.
Brian related how he looked at Mark as a wise mentor early on, and how much he respected him as a marketer, inspiration, and teacher.
He tells the story of how he was surprised by how young Mark actually was when they first met, very close to his own age in fact... even though Brian had grown to look up to him as almost a father figure. Just as he’s become to so many people in this industry!
Brian went on to explain why...if YOU are waiting for something, or holding on to something that’s not serving you, that NOW is the time to let it go. TODAY!

On August 17th 2018, (just a few weeks shy of his 40th birthday), after a courageous 4+ year fight defying all the odds of every doctor, Mark Hoverson passed away. No doubt in anybody’s mind that Mark went on to do even bigger and better things in the next stage of this journey.
While it leaves a hole for us, we’ll never know the pain that his amazing wife Shannon and their four beautiful children are facing daily due to their devastating loss.

“A chorus of Doctor’s have united again in sharing with me that it’s unlikely my body will be able to rebound from this surgery on top of my Stage 4 diagnosis…and again, that I probably have 2-4 months to live. They recommend hospice again.
But…that’s where a group of my friends and clients enter the picture. They called me and said, “You’ve been able to beat this for 4 years, and you can keep doing it. We want to throw you the ultimate gofundme fundraiser!”
This GoFundMe has two primary purposes:
#1- To help alleviate constant rain of medical bills and expenses this disease brings.
#2- To set up Shannon and the children so they can continue to advance the Hoverson Brands you created.
Personally, for the last 4 years, I’ve been very resistant to asking anyone for any help. In many ways, I was ashamed to ask because I knew many years ago that we should have upped our life insurance to at least $5M…but my procrastination prevented it from getting done. And being known as a man who has a little bit of wisdom, the amount of folly in not making that a priority for my family has caused me great regret.
But my mother’s wise advise was not to dwell on my mistakes, but rather take everything to God in prayer and trust <—Thank God for a Mother’s Wisdom!
As I mention in the video above, it’s emasculating to not be able to provide for one’s family (at least that’s how I feel).
However, I want to make sure that our family is taken care of and I want to show my children that even in this dark “valley of the shadow of death”, bright and brilliant hope still exists for our family and that anything is possible.”
