One of the things that helped me to stay in the game when I got started in my home based business was that I had committed to working on me more than my actual business.
Working with literally thousands of people over the years I have seen one thing hold people back like no other and its self belief.
Self belief is where you actually believe you are capable attaining your goal and that you are worthy of attaining your goal.
Pursuing anything in life that is worth anything takes work, but the biggest hurdle that many must overcome is themselves.
Here are Three of my best tips for increasing your own personal belief.
Remember That Self-Belief Is A Learnable Trait
Just because you might lack self belief now doesn’t mean you grow beyond it and make it a strength.
Self belief is directly linked to preparation and action with produced results.
What that means is that the more you work on you by constantly learning and taking action, you will eventually produce a tangible result.
This result will produce belief that you can actually do it.
When I started getting my first few leads online I had a stark realization that hit me like a ton of bricks. It was that I could actually do this.
Learn To Deal With Your Inner Negative Voice
We all have have limited thinking in areas of our life. But the most debilitating and belief killing thinking is the inner self talk that tells us we can’t do it.
The key to killing that negative inner voice is first to recognize it and then obliterate it with positive information and training that combats that type of thinking.
For instance, if you come up against a wall thinking the you are incapable of generating leads online, you grab your thoughts and say…..NO!
I can do this, I will do this and nobody is going to stop me.
You then grab every book, CD, or training you can get your hands on that combats that thinking process and knock it out of your head.
This is how you deal with your inner negative voice.
Become Your Own Motivational Coach
One of the things I love about this industry is the self development aspect that is brings. I have found over the years that my own ability to motivate myself has been the most powerful.
Being a motivational coach to yourself can be a very powerful thing.
Many times we go to an event or a seminar of some sort and we get all motivated to do more and become more than we were when we went to the event.
The real test is what happens when you leave?
Take what you learn and motivate yourself to take action and make it happen.
Self disciple is perhaps one of the greatest ways you can build self belief because it is the ability to regulate your mind and heart to accomplish something even when you don’t feel like doing it.
If you will take these three tips and put them to work for you, your self belief will increase very quickly and your results will soon follow.
